Transparent dressing providing comfort and secure fixation

Mepore Film & Pad is a transparent fluid, viral and bacteria repellent (microbes larger than 25 nm) that makes it easy to monitor the patients wound. The highly absorbent pad and high vapour permeable film offers excellent fluid handling. It's skin friendly adhesive is gentle to the skin and at the same time provide secure fixation. Use Mepore Film & Pad treating patients with wounds with low to moderate exudate levels, such as surgical wounds, cuts and abrasions.

When to use Mepore Film & Pad

For treatment of low to moderately exuding wounds, such as surgical wounds, cuts and abrasions. When applying, do not stretch. To ensure proper adhesion, put your hand over the dressing for a few seconds. Mepore Film & Pad should not be applied on patients who are sensitive to acrylic adhesive. Take care to minimise skin tension as it can cause mechanical damage to the skin. Inspect the wound for signs of infection according to clinical practice. Do not use if inner package is damaged.
