Hybrid XRD Abdominal Sponges are constructed from non-woven inner layers with an all-cotton gauze outer cover.

A black x-ray detectable thread is heat bonded to the gauze.

These sponges have greater absorbency than 100% cotton.

Designed for all open surgical procedures especially where improved fluid control is advantageous.
