DuoDERM CGF - CONTROLLED GEL FORMULATION WOUND DRESSING

DuoDERM® CGF®  Dressing is an adherent dressing indicated for the management of exuding wounds.

DuoDERM^® CGF^™ Dressing is a hydrocolloid, moisture-retentive wound dressing used for partial and full-thickness wounds with exudate. It incorporates a unique ConvaTec hydrocolloid formulation that distinguishes it from other hydrocolloid dressings. DuoDERM^® CGF^™ Dressing is indicated for chronic wounds - pressure ulcers (Stage I-IV), leg ulcers. Acute wounds - traumatic wounds (minor abrasions, lacerations) partial thickness burns and donor sites.

Features:

• Promotes granulation and facilitates autolytic debridement
• Autolytic debridement removes necrotic tissue as quickly as enzymatic debridement
• Can be worn for up to seven days
• Highly conformable – can be easily and gently molded into place

Application

A clean, dry site is required. Select a dressing that extends at least 3cm beyond the wound edges. After removing the silicone backing paper, gently roll the dressing over the wound and mould into place for secure adhesion.

DuoDERM® CGF™ dressing may be used as a secondary dressing, in combination with other appropriate dressings such as, but not limited to, AQUACEL®, DuoDERM® Hydroactive® Gel or Kaltostat® dressing.
