BIOCLUSIVE® TRANSPARENT WOUND DRESSING

BIOCLUSIVE® Transparent Dressings are made from a thin, transparent polyurethane, and can be used on wounds or access devices.

How does it work?

BIOCLUSIVE® helps provide a moist wound healing environment.
The forgiving adhesive helps:

• Facilitate controlled and waste-free application.
• Protect fragile tissue.

The breathable semi-occlusive dressing:Allows oxygen to reach the wound.

• Allows for vaporisation of exudate reducing the potential for maceration.
• Provides a physical bacterial barrier.

 BIOCLUSIVE® Select’s frame delivery system provides additional application control.

Indications

BIOCLUSIVE® and BIOCLUSIVE® Select should be used under Health Care Professional direction for the following indications; low exuding wounds where observation and protection are desired e.g. General Wound Care, skin biopsies, donor sites, superficial partial thickness burns and surgical incisions. They are also indicated to aid securing of peripheral IVs and Central Venous Catheters.
